Investment Manager - Real Estate Market

Role Overview :

As an Investment Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities in the Bangalore real estate market and across South India. You will leverage your extensive experience in real estate business development, financial modeling expertise, and strong network within the industry to drive successful deals and contribute to the growth and profitability of the firm.

Responsibilities :

- Identify and source investment opportunities, including land parcels, joint venture deals, and development projects, primarily in the Bangalore and South India markets.

- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the Bangalore real estate market, including brokers, independent property consultants (IPCs), developers, and other industry professionals.

- Lead negotiations and structuring of investment transactions, ensuring alignment with the firm's investment objectives and risk tolerance.

- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare comprehensive investment proposals, financial models, and presentation materials for investment committee review.

- Monitor and track the performance of existing investments, providing regular updates and recommendations for optimization or exit strategies as necessary.

- Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics impacting the real estate industry in Bangalore and South India.

- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and cultivate new business relationships.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; MBA a reputable institution preferred.

- 5-8 years of progressive experience in real estate business development, investment management, or related roles, with a strong focus on the Bangalore market.

- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.

- Proven track record of sourcing and executing successful real estate deals, including land acquisitions, joint ventures, and development projects.

- Extensive network and relationships within the Bangalore real estate ecosystem, including brokers, IPCs, developers, and other industry professionals.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Strong negotiation and deal structuring capabilities, with a keen eye for identifying value and managing risks.
