Investment Manager - BFSI

My client is a privately-held, respected business house, and are now in their 151st year of business. They have a diverse portfolio of businesses, including Construction (buildings, institutional structures and industrial - covering both civil construction and MEP), Infrastructure (including marine, oil and gas infrastructure, hydro, metro and tunnels), Real Estate development (both residential and commercial), Water / Wastewater, Oil & Gas, Renewables (particularly solar) and Consumer products. The have over 35,000 employees with over 20 nationalities contributing towards the shared vision. The group revenues in this fiscal will be upwards of USD 4 billion.

The promoters of the group also have a family office through which they invest their proprietary capital in various infrastructure assets. The Family office is looking to get onboard an Investment Manager.

They are looking for candidates from the leveraged finance, structured finance and PE team with significant exposure to infrastructure deals.

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 6-10 years

Education: MBA/ CA

Responsibilities:

- Transaction structuring with term sheet, financial model and due diligence as key deliverables

Be part of a dedicated infrastructure fund investment and co-investment team, working alongside others in the wider business

- Approaching potential Lenders / Investors (Banks, NBFCs, Mutual Funds, Life Insurance Cos, Provident Funds, Pension Funds, and Infrastructure Debt Funds etc.)

- Soliciting participation and addressing their queries

Skill set

Experience in the infrastructure / utilities / renewable energies sectors is highly preferable

Strong financial modelling skills, excellent written communication skills, as well as a strong ability to judge people

- Project finance, Structured Finance, Project appraisal, transaction structuring, financial modelling, documentation, Distribution.
