Investment Manager-AVP (Global Private Equity Fund)

Position: Investment Manager-AVP (Global Private Equity Fund) (7-9 yrs)

Role:

- The Company, an independent, international services company, providing consulting services to some of the leading foreign institutional investors.

- As part of our ongoing expansion, we aim to strengthen our investment research and investment advisory services to our clients in Europe and are looking to recruit an entrepreneurial Investment Manager-AVP

- Incumbent will play a key role in strengthening our research and investment advisory services of the company in close co-ordination with its main clients. Investment strategies may include equities, fixed income or multi-asset class strategies. This will require economic, asset/company specific, or fund research, the development of an investment strategy, as well as presenting and debating as part of an investment committee.

- The Investment Manager will further provide middle-office support, analytical support on business assessment, strategic initiatives, market developments/trends as well as regulatory changes with the key objective of an efficient and informed management of sustainable investment portfolios.

- The position is based in Mumbai and may require travel across the country and/or abroad (Europe)

Requirements:

- MBA/ CA

- 7-9 years of financial services experience in Investment Management, preferably with a specialization in equities or fixed income

- Understanding of FDI and FPI investment management for India, the regulatory framework and requirements

- Corporate finance, transaction execution, and business development experience is a plus

- Interest to interact with clients as well as business management stakeholders

- Experience in working with global teams in Asia, the Middle East and Europe is a plus

- Entrepreneurial attitude, willingness to think outside the box

- Exceptional problem solving skills using analysis, sound logic and judgement, evaluate alternatives and recommend workable solutions

- Willingness to travel across India with some international travel to Asia and Europe

- Proficiency in English (more languages are a plus)
