Investment Banking Analyst - Logistics Sector (3-5 yrs)

Role Description/ Scope of the Job/ Goal of the Job :

Investment Banking specialists who will be guaranteed a rich exposure to complete life cycle of equity and M&A deals, from sourcing to closure. The professional will work closely with the senior professionals and will lead the assigned focus area independently, with minimum supervision. The job provides friendly but challenging environment and an opportunity to work on multiple live M&A mandates, across sectors.

Specific Role Responsibilities / Core Duties :

1. Developing in-depth understanding of the sectors from commercial & financing point of view.

2. Actively assisting in sourcing deals, ideating deal structures

3. Preparation of marketing documents & other collaterals for pitches and deal execution

4. Leading commercial and financial due-diligence of equity and structured capital deals

5. Develop pro-forma financial models; research & analyze financial data; write financial reports, prepare comparable analysis, historical financial performance review and free cash flow analysis

6. Conduct research, analyze information obtained from various channels and use it for financial projections & conduct valuation

7. Actively engaging with Company Promoters / Senior Executives Private Equity Funds, Strategic Investors & Structured Finance Funds for closing deals

8. Assist in execution of binding agreements and deal closure

Education/Knowledge /Skills/Abilities / Personality traits :

Education Qualifications : Graduate Degree + CA/MBA

Language : Reading/Writing/Speaking - English

Academic Demands : Math & Analytical

Knowledge : 3-5 years' relevant experience, including a track record of working in logistics sector

Skills :

- Good understanding of accounting basics, financial statements, valuation methodologies

- Understanding of project finance and strong hands-on financial modelling skills are imperative

- Report writing and advanced knowledge of Excel

- Analytical, research, problem solving and valuation skills, including the ability to analyze company reports, sector data, economics and relevant political events

- Good business communication and presentation skills
