We have an Associate Role open with a Bangalore-based Venture Fund. This VC is an "entrepreneur first" venture fund by entrepreneurs with a sharp focus on early-stage enterprise product innovation startups. Our thesis is to invest in entrepreneurs with great technology and product backgrounds and work with them to scale their startups. We provide - Start-up Assist- in various aspects of a startup's journey that include- Business Market fit, Product Management, Product Positioning and Messaging, Architecting for scale, Customer connections and connects to the next level of investors. As a fund, we strongly believe in humility and simplicity. The responsibilities for the person we are looking to hire are as follows: 1. Responsible for engaging deeply with founders, understanding value-proposition, doing competition analysis, and preparing IC notes. 2. They would be responsible to continuously learn and engage with domain experts to understand the technology market and help the portfolio in various aspects of the startup journey from product-market fit to M&amp;A as part of StartupAssist. 3. You would be expected to contribute to the brand of the fund by writing blogs, doing podcasts, and representing Ideaspring in various ecosystem events 4. Extensive experience in diverse areas such as IT services/infrastructure, business development/marketing, and wealth management. Attributes we are looking for include: 1. A person with good communication and analytical skills, Investment Strategies, Entrepreneurship and Equities 2. High energy person and strong passion to interact with founders 3. An engineering background with either a Masters degree or MBA is necessary 4. Experience in a start-up and/or connections in the startup ecosystem is highly desirable 5. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to foster communication and collaboration among extremely diverse individuals both in person and by phone Education: BE/B.Tech from a Tier 1 College
