Job Summary:

Are you passionate about driving positive change through finance? As an Investment Analyst for Climate Finance, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client's reach in climate financing initiatives. This role is focused on investments in renewable energy generation, carbon finance, energy efficiency, and electric mobility, with a strategic emphasis on emerging and developing markets, particularly Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct independent research on markets, technologies, and investment opportunities.

- Assist senior team members in report and presentation preparation.

- Support transaction processes, including diligence, financial analysis, and closure.

- Review and stress test financial models.

- Prepare screening reports and investment memoranda.

- Monitor portfolio investments and relevant markets.

- Provide operational support to credit risk and transaction management teams.

- Collaborate with teams across Zurich, Bangkok, Nairobi, and Mumbai.

Education:

- Post-graduate degree in economics, business administration, finance, or related field.

Experience:

- Three to four years of experience in consulting or financial/investment roles, preferably in renewable energy/climate finance.

Skills:

- Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.

- Proficiency in financial modeling and spreadsheet software.

- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

- Initiative, reliability, and a keenness to learn.

- Transparency and strong interpersonal skills.
