Investment Analyst - BFSI

Job Description :

We are looking to hire an Investment Analyst who can advise clients on investment strategies based on current economic and market trends. The Investment Analyst will be required to liaise with fund managers as well as build networks with industry professionals. The individual would be responsible for compiling advisory reports and make well-researched investment recommendations. A key part of the role also involves creating financial models and analyzing legal documents.

Role and Responsibilities :

- Examine and assess economic and market trends, perform research, and analyze assets such as stocks, bonds, currencies and commodities to determine suitable investment strategies.

- Re-evaluating previous investment decisions and the thought process behind them.

- Liaise with the fund managers and build a network with industry professionals.

- Monitor closely financial press and keep a track of market trends, opportunities, risks, and new investment products.

- Keeping a track of macro developments such as following a country's political environment, climate change and the impact of natural disasters, and emerging industries and service sectors.

- Compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities that would enhance or diversify portfolios.

- Conducting Periodical Portfolio Review of clients.

- Develop complex financial models and analyze legal documents.

- Collaboration is a key part of this job, along with giving a presentation and sharing information among peers.

Key Skills :

- Educational Qualification : MBA (Finance), MA (Economics), MSC (Maths/Stats), CA, CFA (US), CFP, CWM.

- Expert knowledge of Financial Markets and different Financial Instruments.

- Should possess keen analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in Financial modeling will be an added advantage

- Excellent written and oral communication along with good Presentation Skills.

- Candidate should be fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi.

- Ability to multitask.

- Experience in MS Word (Excel and Powerpoint)

- Troubleshoot situations and be able to anticipate problem areas with experience.

- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data from multiple sources.

- High level of integrity and work ethics are expected.
