Investment Analyst - AIF - Manufacturing/Niche Services Firm

We have opportunity with a mnc capital advisory firm into hedge fund for there new business vertical into AIF catering to manufacturing, service and other niche services.

Candidate should have previous work experience in manufacturing, service and other niche services with more than 80 percent

KRA :

- Being a key-part of the investment team that works on Performing Private Credit, Structured Credit and Special Situation transactions from origination to closure.

- Structuring, term-sheet preparation, negotiation of terms, due-diligence, preparation of investment memo for Investment Committee, financial modelling, transaction documentation and investment monitoring.

- Actively involved in co-ordination with external valuers, internal/external legal counsel/s for documentation, title search, rating agencies, trustees etc.

- Analysing secondary investments in listed/traded bonds based on publicly available information.

- Conducting industry, market, and company-specific research and investment opportunities in various manufacturing, service, consumer goods, automobile, consumer electronics, durable, telecom sector.

- Meeting Founders and analyse companies / business and assist in investment decisions.

- Responsible for preparing deal-related materials, including pitch books, teasers, confidential information memorandums, and management presentations

- Preparing detailed financial models and deal evaluation

- Preparing Investment Memo for presentation to investment committee

- Term sheet drafting , negotiations, assisting in legal & financial diligence

- Maintaining deal pipeline by continuous analysis of the performance of portfolio companies and their competitors and keep seniors updated on the progress.

- Prepare Presentations and assist in any communication to stakeholders of the Fund.

Qualification and other key requirements :

- Candidates must have relevant years of experience in AIF/ Debt Fund/ Private Equity/ NBFC with a Chartered Accountancy or MBA from reputed Tier I Business / Engineering-Schools.

- End-to-End transaction closure experience from buy-side is preferable.

- Expert understanding of finance, accounting and valuation methodologies

- Working independently in a fast-paced unstructured environment

- Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills.

- Very good in MS Office applications, like Excel, Word, PowerPoint & MS Teams; systems/applications for corporate and industry information etc.
