Invest India - Specialist - Healthcare PMU

About the Department:

Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Support the Ministry in advancing the "Heal in India" initiative by providing policy support, enhancing the "Heal in India" portal, organizing events, and conducting stakeholder consultations.

2) Lead the engagement with multiple stakeholders including Ministries/Departments, State Governments, Quasi-Government Agencies, Industry Associations, PSUs, Investors, and Private Promoters/Investors.

3) Outline the policy framing for objectives highlighted above by examining issues about the sector (MVT) and deliberating with government stakeholders and industry associations.

4) Coordinate with stakeholders for organizing discussions, workshops, roadshows & events, Liaison with international standards bodies/think tanks, hospitals & diagnostic chains, and sovereign wealth funds to deliberate on best practices.

5) Ensure all project documentation is updated and conveyed to relevant stakeholders on time.

Qualifications:

- Ability to work amid strict deadlines and on multiple projects Post-graduate or graduate degree in healthcare and related streams from a university in India/abroad

- 1-5+ years of work experience in a front-end role at a consulting firm / developmental agency/ investment bank/investment promotion agency / global corporate working in healthcare and allied sectors

- Experience of preparing DPRs, policy briefs, policy analysis, and research reports

- Ability to work in teams and take ownership of the task at hand

- Strong commitment to accuracy and professionalism

- Excellent communication, people, and analytical skills

- Ability to work amid strict deadlines and on multiple projects
