Senior Management level Investment Services (IS) professional responsible for ensuring consistent day-to-day BAU production is achieved across IS functions located in Hyderabad, India. The individual proactively engages with the global Investment Services Management Team (ISMT) to identify and execute innovative, operational solutions that support business growth and measurably improved quality - with a focus on evolving the function to provide more cross-functional and integrated solutions. A key component of this role is to also collaborate with the global ISMT and human resources professionals to identify, develop and drive targeted strategies that enhance the integrated talent and development experience for our Hyderabad based Investment Services colleagues. The individual represents Investment Services on several leadership committees including the Hyderabad Investment Services Management Team (HISMT), the Hyderabad Investment Services Leadership Team (HISLT), and the Invesco Hyderabad Management Team (IHMT).


Invest in people daily

- In collaboration with the IS functional leads and Human Resources, drives the overall IS human capital planning for Investment Services resources in Hyderabad to include an integrated recruitment & sourcing strategy; individual will be actively involved in identifying and recruiting top talent to meet business needs, and will partner with Human Resources to execute on comprehensive leadership development frameworks with a focus on greatly enhancing leadership capabilities throughout the enterprise center

- Collaborates with all IS leaders (global and local) to ensure strong and consistent approach to goal setting, performance management and appraisals, development discussions and the annual talent review process - ensuring that all elements of the talent cycle are consistent with the global program. Also serves as the ISMT members- single point of contact for the talent cycle

- Works with functional and local management to cultivate development plans for staff, to include proactively identifying appropriate training curriculums across the functions that enhance technical and leadership skills; collaborates with IS leaders (global and local) to ensure appropriate development opportunities are available for the team

- Serves as formal and informal coach and mentor for Hyderabad colleagues

- Plays a lead role in defining the operational strategy and roadmap for Investment Services offshore strategy, including the future state offshore location and resource strategy, and partnering with ISMT on defining the evolution of offshore capabilities to meet their business needs

- Partners with function and technology leaders to identify and implement new and innovative technical solutions that enhance operational performance and productivity while taking advantage of the firm's global footprint (e.g., pursuit of automation capabilities, including Robotics)

- Collaborates with IS functional leaders to create appropriate Centers of Expertise as a method to enhance our capabilities and competitive advantage

- Monitors competition within the region to understand processes and technologies leveraged in the market place

- Identifies and supports implementation of innovative processes and technologies

- Minimum of 15 years experience in senior level operations role

- Strong understanding of the investment services value chain, investment strategies and solutions

- Understanding of current regulatory environment within Hyderabad and India

- Familiarity with asset management technology and operating platforms

- Comfort with financials (including P&L management) and operational metrics with experience creating and monitoring appropriate metrics

- Experience creating human capital plans to include success in identifying and recruiting top talent into the organization

- Deep understanding of the enterprise center maturity model for India, with proven experience identifying frameworks to evolve the local capabilities to the next level of business maturity

- Ability to construct a compelling business case, and the executive presence to concisely present to business leaders

- Demonstrative experience in creating and managing complex change management and benefits capture programs

- Experience and passion for coaching and mentoring

- Experience of interacting with senior management required
