Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels, demand planning, and working closely with various departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, demand planning, SQL, and Excel, and will be able to work independently with minimal guidance.

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor's/PG degree in any discipline; preference given to candidates with a Master's degree in Operations Management or a related field.

- 2.5-5 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.

- Advanced MS Excel skills, including dashboarding tools such as PowerBI.

- Experience in inventory and supply chain in a retail environment.

- Excellent analytical skills with inventory and supply chain data.

- Ability to quickly grasp problem statements and suggest corrective actions.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Work on inventory optimization projects independently to ensure the right product is available at the right place at the right time.

- Perform root cause analysis of stock-outs/over-stocks and suggest corrective actions for future.

- Collaborate well with team members and stakeholders.

- Interact with business stakeholders and articulate thoughts effectively.

- Work independently with minimal guidance or support.

- Monitor and communicate the status and completion of assignments, taking ownership of own work and managing risks.

- Apply new concepts and principles to address problems, learning quickly when facing new situations.

Additional Skills and Traits:

- Data extraction through SQL.

- Experience in process improvement initiatives and stock replenishment.

- Ability to address process breakdowns quickly and thoroughly, using process analysis methods like metrics and benchmarks.

- Focus on both processes and results, modifying own work activities and methods to eliminate wasted effort and inefficiencies.

This is a full-time, 5-day work position.
