Inventory Planning Manager

About The Role:

The position provides a strategic and holistic view of distribution and brands businesses and provides the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment.

- The Demand & Supply Planner's responsibilities include but not limited to Production Planning & Control, Inventory planning of In-house and Partner product lines.

- He / She will monitor and maintain set inventory levels so as to avoid stock-outs and overstocking situations at multiple locations across India.

- Plan the Distribution & Imports of IMFL & BIO (Imported) brands and schedule the ordering and production as per the respective type of SKU.

- Coordinate with multiple stake-holders including Sales, Manufacturing, Supply chain, Procurement, Business Development and Finance to meet delivery expectations of forecasted and actual sales while optimizing inventory levels.

- The Company has a portfolio of in-house brands of alcoholic beverages. Also, they are a valued & preferred distribution partner for global liquor giants such as Pernod Ricard, Diageo, Beam Suntory, Mot & Chandon, Campari, AB-InBev, Bira & William Grant, amongst others.

What will the individual do day to day?

- Stock monitoring and planning of Imported and IMFL Brands across PAN India locations

- Production Planning & Control of In-house brands

- Analyze sales trends of PAN India locations and monitor Inventory levels in accordance with the demand

- Responsible for S&OP for all SKUs across PAN India

- Coordinate with Business heads of PAN India locations and prepare demand forecasts and analyze demand patterns

- Manage a team of inventory planners

- Coordinate and maintain relationship with Business partners

- Cross-function SPOC for resolving issues related to stock requirements

- Monitor stock movement and maintain defined inventory levels across all the Central & Regional warehouses and State depots/state warehouses

- Preparation of Fund projections and reports and coordination with Finance team for duty payments

- Maintain location-wise Stock & Sales reports

What are we looking for?

- B Tech./BBA/BMS (or equivalent) and MBA in Supply Chain/Operations (preferred)

- Must have experience in managing a team

- Hands on experience on Advanced MS-Excel

- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication skills

- 5-6 years of professional experience in PPC / Inventory Planning / Supply Chain role

- Experience of Sales & Operations planning (S&OP) is a must

- Must have worked on ERP (SAP, Oracle or others)

- Understanding of Distribution models / Go-to-market routes for Alcoholic Beverages would be an added advantage
