Manager - Experience Design - Intuit is looking for a Design Manager for the Small Business and Self-Employed Group. This role will focus on scaling a brand-new product within the QuickBooks ecosystem called QuickBooks Advanced that is built for more complex small businesses. Let's talk if you : - Are passionate about designing the best possible customer experience - Have experience managing a small to mid-sized design team in a large-scale software company - Have experience working with remote teams - Are a great communicator, storyteller and influencer and can translate ideas effectively across audiences - Are organized and have worked with project management tools - Have experience with financial, small business or enterprise software products - Have experience working with cross-functional partners like product management, marketing, engineering and customer success - Are familiar design thinking and service design process and know how to apply it everyday What you'll do : - Coach, provide guidance and feedback to employees around career growth - Be accountable to the business and oversee the strategic and tactical deliverables related to the design team - Coordinate and plan with other functions - Talent stewardship and hiring great talent - Develop frameworks, principles and contribute to systems across company - Communicate and translate ideas effectively across various people, places and functions - Be a trusted steward of - integrity without compromise- on behalf of Intuit, QuickBooks and the design community Qualifications : - 2+ years experience managing product designers and design teams - 8+ years experience designing large-scale consumer or business software - Working knowledge of Sketch, Photoshop or Illustrator (or equivalent programs) - Deep knowledge of UX design, service design and research terminology and process - Basic knowledge of agile project management Nice to haves : - Fintech experience, Small business experience or Enterprise experience - Familiarity with code: HTML5, JavaScript, CSS/SASS, Styled components, Responsive - An online portfolio with relevant examples
