International Trader - Scraps/Metal

- The ideal candidate that we seek for this role is an ambitious self-starter, innovative, dedicated to continuous improvement. He/ She must be na experienced Metal trader based in any International Location.

- We are looking for multiple Scrap and Raw Materials Traders in Singapore, Middle East, South Africa or any where in India.

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Continuously investigating new suppliers and consumers of ferrous scrap and raw materials while developing and building relationships with individuals responsible for buying and selling.

- Must be knowledgeable of all aspects associated with brokered scrap as well as being cognizant of current market conditions to provide an optimum total cost approach.

- Will contribute market research and forecasting to coordinate the development of micro and macro level strategies; while also being responsible for presenting growth initiatives, value added ideas, and cross selling within other divisions .

- Significant travel in order to meet accounts, face to face to establish and maintain effective business relationships

- Maintaining quality standards and resolving settlement of discrepancies within management guidelines

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Skill and knowledge include:

- 3-5 years trading experience in the scrap metals industry or other industrial sales experience.

- Self-starter with ability to initiate business as well as possess strong negotiating and problem-solving skills.

- Must be an effective communicator

- Must have the ability to effectively function both independently and as a member of a cross functional team with a commitment to cooperation, collaboration, among business functions.

- Strong oral and written skills; adept in statistical analysis and market research; and, a strong knowledge of the scrap recycling industry

- Integrity, leadership, decision making, and entrepreneurial skills are required
