International Taxation Role - VAT/GST - BFS - CA/CPA

We are hiring for an International Taxation role based with a reputed MNC in Bangalore.

The right individual will be very hands-on and assist in all areas of taxes including US and Foreign income tax provision, international tax strategy, indirect taxes (Europe), Transfer Pricing, VAT/GST (Europe and Australia) as well as tax compliance and tax audits. This role will include, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:

- Assist with the preparation of Monthly, quarterly & annual worldwide consolidated tax provision, Reconcile Tax Accounts.Prepare all estimated tax payment calculations for the federal and state income tax jurisdictions. Prepare tax compliance documents, incl. all necessary forms.

- Prepare/review various tax reconciliations and journal entries as part of accounting close

- Support Tax Manager in review global tax filings prepared by outside providers

- Ensures that the organization complies with all tax regulations and reporting requirements.

- Develops compliant tax policies for the company, implements them, and generates reports on their financial impact. Providing guidance based on research of transaction tax laws and regulations.

- Keep updated on global tax law changes and address financial and operational implications

- Hands-on the indirect tax function, including the review and filing of all sales & use, GST/VAT, foreign withholding, and property tax returns

- Facilitate communication and correspondence with external consultants

- Proactively engage with other departments to help resolve tax issues and drive the business objectives forward

- Maintain SOX processes and support SOX documentation/testing of the process related to Tax

- Identify process improvements for various tax processes, implement changes for best practices

- Participate in other special projects as needed

Requirements:
