Job Title : Assistant Manager Working Capital and Treasury - Asia

Works Closely with : Regional CFO Asia, Regional Asia Finance Team, Corporate Finance (Treasury, Working Capital), Global Shared Services in Kuala Lumpur
Direct Reports : Country based Working Capital Managers
A. Overall Purpose Of The Job :
This role assumes overall responsibility for the Asia Working Capital, Treasury and cash flow management function.
B. Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for overall Cash Management for business units within ASIA
- Management of the Receivables Program for business units within ASIA
- Manage relationships with key banking institutions
- Monitor compliance activities associated with the usage of bank accounts
- Ensure minimum cash holding and maximization of available cash
- Management of the issuance of banker's guarantees for business units within ASIA
- Second line management responsibility for a team of country based working capital managers
- Coordinate collection efforts by organising internal meetings to remove complex invoice queries
- Conduct reviews on the credit worthiness for new customers
- Provide liquidity reports for business units within the ASIA.
- Monitor and coordinate cash flow forecasting for business units within ASIA
- Monitor performance of Global Shared Services for billing activities performed on behalf of business units within ASIA
- Review weekly and monthly reporting of ASIA performance against pre-set working capital targets
- Support ASIA leadership in coordinating billing efforts and collection of documentation in case of major global crisis
- Support ASIA leadership with OPOG queries and arbitration
- Be proactive in taking on regional/global projects and ad-hoc improvement initiatives
C. Job Profile :
Required Skills and Knowledge :
- At least 4 years experience of Treasury Management Systems, cash flow management techniques and credit control, ideally within a regional treasury environment
- Proven leadership experience of international, culturally diverse teams
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, problem solver
- Advanced skills in Excel and Powerpoint.

Required Qualifications :
- Financial/Business/Accounting degree
- Specialization in Treasury is added advantage
