This position is responsible for management of overall finance of company and shall be key person to Assistant Controller for smooth operating of finance function in line with laid down GAPP, Auditing, Budgeting, G&A and Cost of Sales control and accounting, Treasury management for all India International SOS entities

We are looking for Male Candidate,

Key Responsibilities :


Accounting & Treasury

- Manage the team of accounting and treasury to ensure that books are closed on time and accurately

- Ensure only duly approved expenses are accurately and timely booked in accounting system, as per GAPP.

- Prepare Accrued expenses, deferred expense schedules and ensure they completely provided/booked in accounting system.

- Inter company Accounting & management

- Balance Sheet management.

- Accuracy and in accordance with GAPP.

Reporting and Compliance

- Accounting Standards & IGAPP

- Corporate Secretarial compliances & filing

- Minimizing/controlling the Fx exposure of all India entities including Hedging

- Transfer Pricing compliance and well versed with Income Tax laws and cases

- Tax Filing & Reconciliations

- Tax deducted at source & reconciliation along with filing of returns

- GST Payment & Reconciliation along with filing of returns o Professional Tax

- Audit Compliance

- Preparing Financial Statements and audit schedules

- Notes to Accounts with details on Earning and expenditure in Foreign Currency

- Lead the Audit for all India entities and bring it to closure end to end.

- Budget & Forecast Preparation for G&A

- Assets o Maintenance of Fixed Assets Register o WIP Control o Any other accounts at the discretion of Assistant Controller-Accounting & Treasury

AP management

- Payment to all providers on time as per due dates.

- Manage AP KPIs like DPO and AP>60 days - Provider's reconciliation.

Expense Analysis

- Variance analysis of expenses month over month and VPY

- Ensuring all accruals and deferred are properly accounted into respective months and correction of any mistake in the following month ensuring quarterly and year end information are accurately posted and rectified.

Financial Control Standard

- Ensure compliance to General Affairs Policy and Procedures (GAPP) for International SOS, India.

- Ensure compliance of accounting/ reporting treatment in line with Group requirements, including treatment for new products.

Process improvements

- Continuously review work processes to ensure efficient workflow to maximize staff efficiency.

- Ensure maximum productivity for delivery of the business requirements.

- Lead or implement new projects and attend forums related to Accounting.

Required Skills and Knowledge :

- Strong capability to adapt necessary and lead changes.

- Be independent and firm team player.

- Pro-active in liaising with the senior managers, regional and Corporate Finance Offices.

- Good interpersonal skills to work in the team - with service-focus mentality.

- Hands-on with day-to-day operations. - Good analytical and Communication skills.

- IT capability: Good Excel knowledge with Access database/Excel Macro functions (preferred).

Required Work Experience

- Working experience in accounting with knowledge of TDS,GST, Corporate Secretarial, Income Tax, Forex - Knowledge of Accounting packages (SUN Systems, Oracle); - Experience in dealing with Banks, Suppliers, Tax consultants; - Experience with service industry preferably a MNC.

Required Qualifications (Brief description of the educational background needed to perform the job)

- Chartered Accountant with 3-5 years of working experience in multinational company

Required Languages

- CWA with 2-3 years experience

- CA Intermediate 2- 8 years experience

- English and local language (usually Hindi).

Travel / Rotation Requirements (Brief description of any travel or rotation requirements)

- Occasional, willingness to travel at short notice.
