Essential job function

- Work with the consulting communications leader and act as a trusted business advisor to the US India consulting leaders. Responsible for ideating, developing, supporting and executing on an integrated communication strategy that advances the US India Consulting business priorities.

- Demonstrates knowledge of the company's Consulting business, as well as familiarity with the US India business messages to determine the positioning and shape messaging for US India Consulting.

- Prioritizes and manages the business and leadership expectations based on overall priorities and available resources

- Keeps the US India Consulting business leaders fully informed regarding communications progress, impact and focus areas.

- An integral part of the US Consulting Communications leadership team, collaborates and partners closely with them on sharing Best Practices and integrating strongly with the overall business communication messages, programs and priorities.

- Plays a key role in increasing awareness in the US about the US India Consulting business priorities and messaging among key stakeholders within the business

- Provides support in developing and driving an effective metrics to measure the impact of the overall US India Consulting communications strategy.

- Ability to work seamlessly with the larger team of very talented communications professionals.

- Fosters integration and collaboration across the Communications team in US India and the US to advance business objectives more effectively

- Ability to measure the effectiveness of communications and support initiatives and projects that help refine the strategy based on the business impact and success.

- Leverages social and digital communication platforms like the intranet, videos, social media to help drive the business priorities and messages.

The team

The communications team comprises passionate professionals who specialize in Internal Communications, Public Relations and Communications Technology. Based out of the Hyderabad and Bengaluru offices, the teams act as strategic advisors to key clients, stakeholders and the region's leadership; develop communication strategies to help drive business and region-specific priorities, and ensures professionals are equipped with the right information in a timely manner to excel at work, remain engaged and have the right work-life fit.

Qualifications

Required:

- Minimum 4 to 8 years relevant experience in internal communications, having been an important part large communication teams in corporations or MNC's, including planning and playing a key role in designing and execution of multi-dimensional internal communication programs.

- Recognized experience in working on employee engagement campaigns and working closely with enabling teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and events

- Comfortable working closely with senior leaders regarding the strategic impact and value of Communications.

- Well versed with social and online media

- Highly proficient in American English

- Demonstrated team spirit

- Mature, flexible, innovative - thinks outside the box

- Project management skills and experience

- Excellent relationship-building skills

- Should have had sound exposure in measuring the effectiveness of communications strategies and approaches

- Degree (Masters preferred) in Communications, Business, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, or English would be an added advantage

Preferred:

- Should possess good strategic and technical competencies in internal communications. Should have an overall experience of 4-8 years (depending on the level offered) with a proven track-record of having served in an Internal Communications role in a large corporation for a minimum of 4 years.
