InterMiles - Senior Manager - Mobile & Web Application Architecture

Role :

- You shall be responsible for building a highly scalable, robust technology architecture for InterMiles Website & Mobile App as digital channels hosting multiple independent products.

- You shall be responsible for the overall Information Architecture for the channels and manage the customer journeys and features as part of the core website / App and ensure they seamlessly integrate with other travel & lifestyle products. You would ensure seamless integration of multiple travel & lifestyle products in the App ecosystem and manage app lifecycle.

- You will partner with engineering, marketing, product vertical teams and business teams to build out the web & app experience that will drive customer delight.

- As part of this role, you will be responsible to ensure faster go to market of features through technology re-use, common architecture across Web & Mobile.

- You would also manage a team of 5-7 direct reportees and ~50+ development team across web & app.

Responsibilities :

- Manage delivery of platform lifecycle, design, development and operations of core website & mobile app

- Build out effective platform strategies to dramatically increase speed-to-market across web, mo-web & app

- Responsible for leading the design, features & timeline trade-offs for features on the platform

- Bring a data centric approach to platform management - monitor critical Web & App KPIs

- Clearly define & execute a long term architecture for reusing UI, API, Data, Processes, Content across Web, Mo-Web & App

- Work closely with business teams to support KPIs for acquisition, engagement across different products

- Develop quick working prototypes and perform usability testing

- Drive development in Agile Scrum sprints and manage the product backlog, develop functional requirements and user stories

- Work with extended development team to get user stories developed, tested, released

- Manage API ecosystem that go behind the product, data flow among systems, tech bottlenecks and RCA's in technical systems & product design

- Work with various Product Owners to build & extend respective product capabilities on the platform

- Ideate and execute new innovative features

- Facilitate analytics on mobile app and identify key KPIs to continuously enhance the product.

- Design a robust, scalable and secure technology architecture

- Work with Marketing teams to develop innovative and personalized communication channels on Mobile

- Work with graphics teams to design UX/UI for mobile app

- Work with vendors/partners to develop integrations with 3rd parties

- Work with analytics teams to create a robust data-driven analytics backend

Technical Skills :

- Should have hands-on experience on managing complex mobile/web application development in e-commerce or travel / OTA industry

- Should have a deep understanding of mobile app architecture

- Should have experience in developing product backlogs, building user stories, working in Sprints

- Should have understanding of front end web / mobile technologies like ReactJS, React Native, development platforms & architecture

- Should have understanding of integrating APIs, 3rd party SDK on Mobile App

- Should have experience in designing UI / wireframes for Web / Mobile apps

- Should have understanding of overall web & mobile marketing & analytics ecosystem like Google / Adobe Analytics, Personalization, Push etc

- Should have worked on Content Management Systems like Liferay, Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal, Sitecore, Teamsite etc

- Understanding of DevOps / CICD framework & relevant solutions like Jenkins, ELK, Git, Test automation frameworks etc

Communication Skills :

- Strong understanding of Agile processes, ability to prioritize the backlog & break up in Epics & stories

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments

- Strong problem solving & troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

- Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and coordinate tasks across different teams

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Effective project management with focus on time and cost
