Position Summary:

As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), your crucial responsibility lies in defining and implementing our company's technology strategy. Your main emphasis will be on migrating our systems to the cloud and broadening our global business presence. Your leadership, technical proficiency, and business insight will play a vital role in fostering innovation, scalability, and operational efficiency throughout our organization.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Technology Strategy and Execution:

- Develop and articulate a comprehensive technology strategy in alignment with business goals and transformation objectives.

- Lead the seamless migration of infrastructure from on-premises to cloud platforms, ensuring a fluid transition.

- Implement scalable and agile technology solutions to support company growth and international expansion plans.

- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to identify innovation opportunities and foster business growth.

2. Team Leadership and Management

- Head a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.

- Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and processes to ensure efficient and effective technology solution delivery.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, operations, and business development, aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals.

3. Cloud Transformation:

- Devise and execute a comprehensive strategy for migrating to the cloud, utilizing cutting-edge platforms and services.

- Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of both cloud infrastructure and applications.

- Promote the adoption of cloud-native technologies and agile development practices to enhance operational efficiency and expedite time-to-market.

- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the success of initiatives related to cloud transformation.

4. International Expansion:

- Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to assess international markets and develop strategies for entering and expanding within them.

- Oversee the creation and implementation of localized technology solutions tailored to the unique needs and regulatory requirements of specific international markets.

- Establish partnerships with technology vendors, service providers, and local stakeholders to facilitate the seamless expansion into international markets.

Requirements:

- Demonstrated expertise in a CTO or senior technology leadership role within a media or technology company, showcasing thought leadership and guiding technology transformations.

- Advantages in Playout & Distribution, Content Supply Chain, Postproduction & OTT expertise.

- Proven track record of successfully leading and executing technology transformations, particularly in transitioning from on-premises to cloud-based infrastructure.

- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and proficiency in cloud migration strategies and best practices.

- Experience in expanding business operations and establishing an international presence across multiple markets.

- Solid grasp of media technology trends, including streaming, content management, data analytics, or AI/ML applications.

- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams.

- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, aligning technology initiatives with organizational objectives.

- Proven experience in managing technology budgets and delivering results within allocated resources.
