Interface.ai - Finance Controller - CA

Interface.ai provides an Intelligent Virtual Assistant (IVA) to Financial Institutes to automate calls and customer inquiries across multiple channels and engage their customers with financial insights and upsell/cross-sell.

Founders come from Banking and Enterprise Technology backgrounds with previous experience scaling companies from scratch to $50M+ in revenues.

As a Finance Controller, you will be responsible for:

- Own the financial close process for interface.ai India entity

- Support activities to deliver accurate and timely results reporting to management, shareholders, regulators, and the Board of Directors.

- Ensure consistent implementation of corporate accounting principles and procedures in full compliance with US GAAP.

- Develop, implement and maintain the internal systems and financial controls consistent with interface.ai's policies and regulatory guidelines, ensuring compliance with all tax and corporate requirements and filings primarily for the India entity

- Responsible for accounting of the Indian subsidiary which involves timely recording and reconciling bank transactions, classifying expenses, producing financial reports, and performing variance analysis.

- Responsible for Bookkeeping, Cash flow management, and MIS reporting

- Own and manage health insurance, payroll, HR, PF, and related enrollments for new hires in the India entity.

- Perform monthly plan versus budget analysis with department heads and functional leaders across the organization and provide directly actionable insights to control various unutilized or underutilized expenses.

- 7+ years of accounting and finance experience with progressively increasing responsibilities

- Full understanding of regulatory reporting and compliance in India & US GAAP.

- Strong knowledge of Excel for data modeling, financial analysis, and visualization.

- Prioritize and balance multiple requests, projects, and deadlines. Experience with analytics tools and providing actionable insights and recommendations
