Group Manager Intellectual Property

- Intellectual Property - Group Manager - India

- 7+ years of strong IP Knowledge & experience in Chemistry or Polymer Science or Chemical engineering domain with a relevant team handling experience.

- Manage a team of Research Associates, Senior Research Associates, Managers

- Managing existing clients and growing the client relationship

- Effective project management for various clients involving all kinds of IP services

- Responsible for productivity, utilization and quality of output of the group

- New client development, participation in client meetings, support to sales.

- Responsible for resource planning, hiring and thought leadership for the group at large.

- Providing the content lead on projects involving strong functional expertise and domain knowledge

- Group development by building expertise in new domains and processes those are of relevance to

- Coaching and mentoring – as a career manager a Group Manager’s role is to essentially mentor 20-30 group members.

- Development of training modules and imparting training to the group.

- Performance management of the group.

- Keeping a track of competitor strategy in terms of best practices, structuring, client contacts etc.

- Strong IP knowledge

- Exposure to various IP related services

- Client engagement skills

- Handling a team of 25-30 professionals

- Strong analytical skills with thorough understanding of the technology domain

- Good written and spoken English communication

- Responsible attitude and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
