Integration Architecture Consultant - IT Consulting - Consulting Firm

Job Opportunity with a leading global consulting firm - Integration Architecture Consultant (Tech. Consulting Role)

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

- Building integration-centric offerings and help our clients face technical challenges as they transition from traditional integration platforms to service oriented architectures

- Advising C-level executives on modern technology architectures with an emphasis on emerging hybrid architectures, patterns and tools

- Helping design solutions optimally based on modular reusable APIs

- Evaluation of the technical and functional requirements, and develop cost-effective solutions to provide customers with demonstrable returns

- Development of solutions to help customers realize their business goals and advise them on best practices for on-premise, cloud, and hybrid integration, and API management

- Specification of integration architecture and design patterns

- Define solutions using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) patterns

Experience:

- Deep experience in different integration design patterns

- Must have worked in medium to large scale organization wide integration strategy engagements

- Knowledge of one or more integration platforms - MuleSoft/Apigee/WSO2/IBM API Connect/Biztalk/Azure

- iPaaS Integration (Cloud Integration)

- Experience in building middleware integration strategy - messaging infrastructure/message bus, routing, transformation, enrichment, scheduling, sequencing and error handling

- Knowledge and understanding of security protocols, performance benchmarks, logging, monitoring, alerting and auditing requirements

- Strong knowledge of data structures, data exchange formats and ability to define data transformation rules between producer and consumer systems

- Strong understanding of agile methodology
