Position Summary: Integration Architect is responsible for the planning, coordination, development, and supervision of all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions to meet the business requirements of the organization.
Responsibilities:- Develop integration standards and principles.
- Develop and maintain the technology stack to include commercial or open-source integration platforms.
- Provide expert advice to project teams on use of integration technology, and system architecture including integration best practices.
- Oversee critical steps within the Software Development Life Cycle components that impact enterprise-wide development/architecture standards.
- Provide oversight in standards adherence through reviews of project work including detailed technical specifications and application code.
- Work with project teams in the definition of requirements for integration strategies of their projects into the Enterprise Architecture.
- Manage internal resources as well as augmented or externally sourced team members.
- Oversee development and support of batch and backend processes related to the application portfolio.
- Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Partner with leaders of other disciplines to ensure proposed solutions align with information, technology, infrastructure, business, and security architectures.
- Participates in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy.
- Evaluate technology, market trends and industry plus identify the prospective impact on business.
- Develops enterprise standards to ensure compatibility and integration of multi-vendor platforms.
- Design and implement various strategies for all API management service and Gateway.
- Design and implement various strategies for Service Oriented Architecture.
- Implement various proactive monitoring mechanisms to ensure that there is no bottleneck in API layer nor in Service oriented architecture layer.
- Knowledge about how securely exposed API to external world.
- Knowledge about how same API management layer can serve external as well as an internal customers.
Qualification :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology and/or related discipline required.
- Master's degree in same or similar a plus
Work experience:- Minimum of five to eight years of related work experience.
- Minimum of 2+ year experience in Azure and API is must
Desire Technical certificates: AWS /Azure/Mulesoft/APIgee API management technical course.
Technical Skills:- Must have worked on API management tools, load balancer, Kubernetes and Docker.
- Must have work with open API specification and swagger for API documentation.
- Must have work on API management gateways like Azure API management or AWS API management gateway.
- Must have work i.e. on MuleSoft ESB, IBM ESB, Oracle ESB or any other Enterprise Service Bus( ESB).
- Need to have knowledge on how to apply followings in API management layer.
- Rate limit
- Apply Policy via inbound and outbound rules.
- Subscription based API
- Developer portal.
- Creating Faade to hide backend from front end.
- Logging
- Monitoring and Security.
- Version Control of same API.
- API management via Open API specification and Swagger.
- Apply Cache to reduce I/O
- Need to have knowledge on message transformation, orchestration, transport protocol negotiation, mediation, apply cache to avoid back-to-back call.
