B.Pharm. / M.Pharm. / M.Sc.

PG Diploma in Packaging / relevant qualification in packaging (mandatory)

Experience: 20 - 25 years in Pharmaceutical Industry

Job Location: Ahmedabad

Purpose of the position:

Leading Packaging Development team for the Development of products packaging for domestic, semi-regulated and regulated markets for R&D, Exhibit/stability & commercial.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for planning for adequate resources for the department to facilitate proper execution of ongoing and upcoming projects

- Provide inputs with respect to packaging as a member of the New Product Identification and selection team

- Extend support to manufacturing locations for any trouble shooting during Exhibit & commercial batches

- Extend support for regulatory queries for regulatory filled products & market complaints

- Extend support for External packaging development of Third Party Manufacturers

- Responsible for development of primary & secondary packing for new products based on RLD pack configuration

- Final review and approval of Innovator analysis, Pack proposals, Specification, MOA, SOPs, MPC, MPCR, Risk assessments, Trade dress, equivalencies, shipping study, artwork, BOM, Change part & packaging instrument qualification at R&D.

- Evaluation of packaging machine for procurement & change part for commercial packing

- Extend support for indigenous source identification & development for packaging material

- Responsible for planning & implementation of Track & Trace at manufacturing sites for all countries including machine selection, software finalization and output & uploading of data in portals

- Innovative pack development for key projects in both domestic and regulated markets

- Overall responsibility for maintaining the upkeep of Packaging Development with respect to GMP, Systems and Project Timelines

- Extend support during regulatory audits at R&D and manufacturing locations
