The project delivery team works in a typical consulting dual shore structure. We are currently looking to hire a Team lead who can lead the offshore team out of Gurgaon location. The team lead would act as an Analytics Subject Matter Expert and has engagement delivery / consulting and team management responsibilities.

Following is a description of skillset & responsibilities.

Required Skillset

1. Strong Problem Solving Skills (Able to think independently and can solve structure and solve open ended problems)

2. Strong Technical Skills (Expert in programming (One of R/SAS/Python etc, Good understanding of statistical methodologies, experience in AI/ML is plus)

3. Strong Analytical aptitude (Should be able to make sense out of numbers)

4. 6+ year of relevant analytics experience with at least 2-3 years of direct team management responsibilities

5. Emphatic team leader with excellent written & verbal communication skills

6. Enjoys ambiguity & uncertainty

7. Strong work ethics

8. Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management & meeting deadlines

9. Ready to work in demanding and high pressure scenario

10. Takes complete owneship of the work & delivers impactful results

Roles & Responsibilities-

1. Manage a team of 10-15 analysts/senior analysts/Managers working in a fast paced consulting engagement

2. Will liaise between the onshore & offshore team (Often with clients as well)

3. Need to ensure clear and transparent communication between onshore & offshore team

4. Day to Day team management tasks (e.g. Appraisals, regular feedbacks, resource allocation, training needs etc.)

5. Prioritize the tasks to ensure timely execution of the project from start to finish

6. Lead by setting a good example (role model) - behavior consistent with words, motivates and inspires them

7. Coach and help develop team members; help resolve dysfunctional behavior

8. Facilitate problem solving and collaboration

9. Maintain healthy group dynamics and intervene when necessary to aid the group in resolving issues

10. Assure that the team members have the necessary education and training to effectively deliver on their workstreams

11. Encourage creativity, risk-taking, and constant improvement

12. Bring in efficiencies by coming up with better/alternate ways of doing things

13. Recognize and celebrate team and team member accomplishments and exceptional performance
