Opening - Research Associate

Location - Mumbai

Role & Responsibilities - 

- Equity Research for Institutional clients

- Analysing Annual Reports for (I) accounting issues (II) operating performance (III) management insights (IV) governance to paint a clearer picture of the stocks- investment worthiness.

- Scrutinising balance sheet and cash flows and complex transactions of companies (in addition to P&L) in order to provide opinions on financial statement and highlight red flags and accounting warning signs.

- Conducting extensive research on the new Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) highlighting its implications on sectors and companies (analysed BSE 200 companies).

- Analysing the impact of any change in taxation or accounting law and how companies will adapt to the changes.

- Assist team in preparing, updating and maintaining financial models

- Assist in writing various research reports

- Monitor, track and be updated on various regulatory developments on Accounting, Tax and Regulatory front (incl. IND AS, GST, SEBI guidelines, etc.)

Only CA fresher with internship experience in Big4
