Job Role

The central role of the Acquisitions Manager is to take the lead in securing representation for new high-value locations. The Property Acquisitions Manager would evaluate and propose properties that are in line with InstaOffice's property requirements and be responsible for ensuring activation of the same while maintaining a strong relationship with landlords, brokers and other key players in the coworking industry.

Role and Responsibilities

- Use a combination of a defined criteria list, your own decision-making skills and new found industry knowledge to prioritize which properties are to be acquired on an exclusive basis.

- Adopt existing successful internal systems, processes and collateral to negotiate with owners or managers of high-value properties from initial contact through to the securing of the contract.

- Use patience, your charisma and negotiating skills to strike up a rapport and then articulate the merits of the company and our value and prominence within the industries we operate within when liaising with property owners.

- Work closely with the Activation department to organize the completion of a site assessment

- Work closely with the Marketing specialist to roll out a bespoke marketing campaign for each new location we secure exclusively, including the delegation of work to the Acquisitions Assistant (AA) (if any), and possibly even third party companies we contract from time-to-time.

- Use the AA as well as online resources to identify new properties that may be interested in securing our services.

Skills

- 3+ years- experience in leasing, property consulting, real estate sales.

- People skills are paramount. You- ll be managing the entire city team and dealing with a wide array of partners, mentors, investors and other stakeholders

- Excellent data-driven decision-making ability backed by sound analytical thinking

- Strong sense of what's right for our members. Ability to empathize with and think from the member's point of view.

- Planning, estimation, and project management skills

- Ability to systematize, create processes that are user-friendly (read: not bureaucratic) and efficient

Possible background

Preferably from

1. Established brands like Regus, Awfis, 91 Springboard, TheExecutiveCentre, Vatika

2. Mature tech companies like common floor, Housing, PropTiger

3. Real Estate Companies

4. Property Management Companies - JLL, Cushman Wakefield, CBRE, Knight Frank, Colliers

International, Real Estate Consultants
