Job Description-Research Manager/Senior Research Manager

This exciting role provides opportunities to work with business and investment leaders across sectors. Providing knowledge on large-scale issues down to the most niche and esoteric, our experts range from domestic and international policy specialists to economic advisors, business leaders to academics. Through our systems, clients connect to a network of top-tier professionals, whose insights can help move clients' best ideas towards their best outcomes.

As a Research Manager, you will draw from a broad pool of experts including premier thought leaders from around the world and recruit the most relevant experts for our clients' research projects. You will be expected to monitor industry news, identify market trends, and establish valuable professional relationships with senior-level industry professionals.

Managers will be collaborating with client-facing team on custom client projects and strategic recruiting efforts, aiming to connect our clients with relevant key opinion leaders and senior industry executives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery team:

- Lead a team of junior to mid-level professionals with a strong focus on client delivery.

- Provide actionable coaching to juniors and support team members in ensuring high-quality delivery and customer experience while effectively managing team level TAT.

Client Engagement & New Client Acquisition:

- You will work directly with our end clients and our Business Development team in building strategic relationships with key stakeholders on our client side.

- Understand implicit and explicit needs of clients and propose the best solutions.

- Cross Sell new services of IA and innovatively present newer and higher value-added solutions to clients.

- Build new referral partnerships with Experts and clients.

Process Improvement:

- Actively identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

- Propose and implement process enhancements that result in time or cost savings, increased productivity, or improved outcomes.

Performance Development:

- You will actively be involved in training and mentoring team members throughout the year and will also be responsible for performance Improvement and their career growth.

Problem Solving:

- Analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions to drive business growth.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and understand challenges and propose effective problem-solving strategies.

- As a Research Manager, your role is integral to the firm's ability to deliver high quality executive talent to its clients, contributing to their business success and growth.

Candidate profile:

- Candidate with 5+ years of experience in external client-facing roles in a professional services organization such as Consulting, Executive Search, Financial Services, Market Research firms.

- Post Graduate Degree /Graduate Degree required.

- Excellent communication and interaction skills, including demonstrated oral, written and presentation abilities in a business-focused setting using a variety of communication channels (telephone, e-mail, in-person, etc.)

- Handled a team of 6 - 8 associates/Sr associates including line management, feedback process, and performance Improvement.

- Strong people management skills, with experience handling exceptions and scenarios that require strong decision-making skills aligned with the firm's vision.

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

- You need to have exceptional stakeholder/customer management skills and the ability to nurture these relationships to achieve business priorities.

- You should be comfortable with the fast-paced, dynamic, and customer-centric environment.

- You have an agile mindset, curious about new practices and keen to experiment.
