Job Description :
Strategic Objectives :
- Understand the business process industry, how it operates, and overall demand trends
- Knowledge of the customer's business landscape, their buying needs, industry trends
- Ability to understand - What Sells- in each specific industry
Tactical Objectives :
- Generate leads and arrange meetings for onshore sales teams through multi-channel outreach; support events and tradeshows by recruiting potential prospects to visit/engage in sponsored activities, both online and offline; manage inbound inquiries
- Assist the sales and business teams to conduct research on target accounts, map the outsourcing landscape, and develop account penetration plans
- Identify sales opportunities and pass on intelligence gathered to sales teams
Required Competencies :
As a person with passion for sales, business acumen and good interpersonal skills, you should be able to :
- Use an appropriate elevator pitch to enter an account and identify the right party contact (RPC) in every account
- Speedily go through gate keepers via relationship building skills, get a buy-in from multiple decision makers for an audience within a sales representative
- Ask the right questions on outsourcing landscape, uncover any immediate or upcoming business opportunities
Prior Experience and Skills :
- 4+ years of Business Development or Inside Sales or Lead Generation or Sales experience in an Analytics organization, with knowledge of outsourcing/Offshoring industry
- Crisp business communication, both spoken and written proficiency mandatory
- Working of various sales reporting and CRM systems, up-sell, cross-sell, any other phone selling experience will be a plus
- Flexible to work in global time-zones, as per business requirements
- Adaptability to a diverse culture of sales and sales professionals .
