Inside Sales Representative PURPOSE : This document aims to describe about the Inside Sales Role, and the candidate profile and skills required for the job DEFINITION : B2B - Business to Business ABOUT THE ROLE : a) The Inside Sales Representative will support the overall sales growth effort by selling directly to customers and/or key distributors via remote distance selling b) The objective is to generate revenue and/or profit margin by servicing small to midsize accounts c) The role requires minimal travel and may work with field sales representatives by providing sales support, follow-up, etc. CANDIDATE PROFILE : a) Bachelor's degree - preferably science b) 2 years+ prior sales/customer service or related experience required. Ideally within B2B manufacturing/printing/chemical or packaging environments c) Excellent customer service skills d) Knowledge of Industry, products and applications preferred e) Good written, verbal and telephone skills f) Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Google and function specific software. g) Knowledgeable on negotiating and developing contracts h) Proven sales negotiation skills SKILLS : a) Customer Centric b) Skilled in communicating effectively with all levels of management on complex business issues c) Excellent oral, written and presentation skills. Effective meeting management d) Strong ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team e) Ability to develop and foster strong relationships over the phone f) Basic negotiation, financial, mathematical, and business acumen skills needed g) Proficiency with applicable computer systems, SFDC, and Google Suite
