Indus Momentus/Inquizity - Operations Research Analyst - Supply Chain Planning

- Analyst works with top industry people to solve complex Operations Research problems in the areas of Production planning, Allocation Planning, Route Planning, Network Design etc.

This role is most ideally suited for Production Engineers / Mechanical Engineers / MTechs in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research.

- The following would be the Role Definition to the best that can defined given that this is startup

Business Process Translation :

- The role would require the candidate to understand the client requirements and ability to translate the same into a relevant tool that would help automate the process and make it more efficient

- The role would require the candidate to understand the products that IMBS would implement/use and apply the same in a client situation.

Modeling Skills :

- The role would require the candidate to help translate customers- business need to a functional specification for the tool so that the same can be implemented in the client site.

- The role would require the candidate to model the above functional requirement into a model which would faithfully represent the business of the client

Reporting and Analysis :

- The role would require the candidate to analyse the model outputs and stidy them for accuracy, insights from the output and for further enhancements to the output

- The role would require the candidate to suggest new analysis on the said data and new ways of representing the data so that it is more useful for the client.

Good Understanding of Operations Research concepts of :

1. MILP

2. Statistics

- Experience in CPLEX, or any other LP Solver

- Experience in R

- Programming in C / C#, SQL

- Excel Skills

- Good Communication Skills
