Innovation & Transformation Leader - Procurement

Position title: Procurement - Innovation & Transformation leader

Location: Bangalore, KA | Whitefield

Work Schedule: 5 days, General Shift

Duties and Responsibilities

- Identify and advocate for supplier co-innovations within new Offer Creation Projects (OCP) and Quality, Value, and Efficiency (QVE) initiatives, fostering collaborative design innovations for upcoming OCP products.

- Evaluate new projects to assess technology value addition, identifying innovative opportunities and building a robust innovation pipeline.

- Coordinate various supplier technology events, including tech days and roadshows, engaging cross-functional teams as necessary.

- Develop close relationships with strategic suppliers to stay abreast of emerging trends in their products, facilitating exclusive showcase events with Strategic Engineering (SE).

- Collaborate with Line of Business (LoB) engineers and Centers of Excellence (CoE) within the Business Unit (BU) to integrate innovative components from supplier project roadmaps.

- Establish appropriate supplier co-innovation targets for the year and ensure timely adaptation.

- Provide training to Offer Process Leaders/Project Process Leaders (OPL/PPLs) to facilitate the uptake of co-innovations.

- Serve as the Innovation Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Business Unit procurement during Product Engineering and Supplier (PES) audits.

Educational Qualification:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical & Electronics) or Business. An MBA would be advantageous.

Work Experience:

- Job Related Experience: 12 to 15 years of experience in Purchasing/Sourcing within a multinational corporation, with a strong background in procurement and supplier management. Experience in outsourced products/assembly processes is beneficial.

- Additional Skills: Knowledge of Application Engineering and Design is advantageous. Strong business acumen, particularly in components supply chain management and industrial product applications.

- Other Requirements: Proficiency in English is mandatory. Multicultural experience, collaborative team player mindset, digital acumen, and financial literacy are valued attributes.
