Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Analyze and interpret sales and marketing data to identify insights for category and customer. Work with customers, a sales team to jointly execute insight plans.
- Partner with the insights team and sales team to identify priority opportunities and efficiently size up the opportunities targeting unmet customer needs.
- Identify and prioritize segments, sectors, customers for growth and develop strategies for growth in the identified areas.
- Identifies future trends and maps them to business needs and opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams, identify key stakeholders, deliver a seamless execution from ideation to commercialization.
- Create the 3-year innovation pipeline basis the future trends, identified opportunities and business growth.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the potato category, competition and look into innovating products as per the market requirement.
- Develop and manage strong commercially viable and strategically aligned innovations for McCain product portfolio.
- Demonstrate regular and ad hoc reports to the team to help them understand category range and performance.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of integrated business/category strategy. Supports market growth initiatives and works with the activation and insight team to grow customer recruitment for business growth.
Experience required:
- 5-6 years with 1-2 years in sales and 3 years in marketing
- Experience of working within category management at a similar level
- Good innovation exposure - ideation, conceptualizing, product development
