Manager Operations & Maintenance (Bar Mill Hot rolling Mill) (Location - Nigeria) Operations & maintenance of Bar Mill Plant: Roles & Responsibilities: - Planning of day-to-day preventive/breakdown maintenance for rolling mill equipment like reduction gearboxes, pinch rolls, flying & crop and cobble shears, twin channels, etc, and maintaining records as well. - Continuous maintenance of plant with less breakdown: - Coordinate with Maintenance team for optimal use of Downtime & reduce Process delays. He Should have complete knowledge of spare planning and indent for procurement. Productivity review: - Scanning the environment for Best Practices and exploiting opportunities for Continuous Improvement. Monitor and Review Consumption of Power and fuel (Gas and furnace Oil) and ensure maintenance at optimal levels. - Monitoring product standards as per SOP (Standard Operating procedure). Experience & Qualifications: - 8+ years, in Operations & Maintenance of Bar Mill, Hot rolling mill. Experience in steel Manufacturing companies - Bachelor Of Engineering in Mechanical - 5+ years in Mechanical Maintenance, Experience in Steel Manufacturing set up in Africa would be an added advantage - Operations, Quality & Knowledge of fully automated rolling mill will be an added advantage.
