ERP Product Manager:

The ERP Product Manager is responsible for the product backlog and development lifecycle for all the enterprise applications. Creates a team environment by working closely with the applications team, contractors, and vendors. Provide guidance based on best practices and established processes. Ensures on-time product delivery and within budget, which requires a clear understanding (and management) of expectations and capabilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

Product Delivery:

- Support the CTO in developing and maintaining a strategic roadmap of the ERP product based on the business needs

- Manages relationships with the stakeholders around their requirements and identifies a solution together with the rest of the Product Management team to deliver the need as a combination of ERP and supporting tools

- Builds the team that delivers the ERP solution and the necessary integration as a combination of internal resources, contractors, and vendors/implementation partners

- Maintains a set of potential implementation partners that would be necessary to manage the requirements

- Responsible for working with relevant Functional and Business Process Architects, Business Process Owners from various Chemonics Divisions that are relevant to the ERP to understand their business goals and process improvement needs

- Responsible for managing the requirements across timelines splitting it across releases/sprints

- Leads the delivery and release management of ERPNext leading to continuous improvement cycles, upgrades, integrations, and critical enhancements

- Responsible for managing technical upgrades, new features, and enhancements from the product vendor(s) and closely working with the product and implementation vendors, developers, and testers

- Responsible for the definition of high-level epics and the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) for a given solution

- Responsible for ticket lifecycle management with technical teams and vendors

- Gathers, analyzes, and, when appropriate, contributes or starts to design the reengineering of business processes

- Responsible for streamlining manages master data collection and management across different environments

- Leads and manages UAT and deployment activities

- Leads and manages project vendors to ensure timely deliverables within budget and scope

- Oversee the creation and maintenance of system design documentation working with the product team and vendors

- Proactively solves project issues promptly and effectively

- Proactively leads and empowers project team members to deliver product services innovatively

- Works effectively to ensure appropriate parties are involved and engaged in achieving project goals

- Provides periodic communications to project sponsors, stakeholders, and management

- Technical Capacity, Management, and Leadership

- Experience building strong working relationships with cross-functional teams

- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders one on one, and in groups of varying size

- Prioritizes, improvises, and adapts technologies to address changing business needs and issues

- Provides project leadership and management consulting across the enterprise

- Takes onus in problem-solving and responds immediately to emergencies
