JOB DESCRIPTION

Title

Key Responsibilities

1. ESG Strategy Development: Collaborate with clients to develop and implement ESG strategies that align with their business objectives to improve their ESG Performance. This includes identifying key ESG factors relevant to the client's industry and operational context.

2. Software Solutioning: Recommend technology solutions that align with the client's ESG strategy. Provide expertise in selecting, customizing, and implementing ESG software solutions. Guide clients in integrating these solutions into their existing systems for efficient data collection and analysis.

3. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze ESG data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Assist clients in generating comprehensive reports that meet regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations.

4. Sustainability Assessment: Conduct assessments of the client's current practices in relation to ESG criteria, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable strategies. Manage and oversee the organization's carbon footprint analysis and reduction initiatives.

5. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with the internal product development team to ensure alignment between product capabilities and market needs. Engage with customers, industry experts, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and insights for product improvement and marketing strategy refinement. Engage with external partners to promote sustainability efforts, including NGOs, governmental agencies, and industry groups.

6. Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to clients using ESG software, ensuring they can effectively manage and report on sustainability metrics. Educate different departments to integrate sustainability practices into business operations.

8. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on the evolving ESG regulations and sustainability standards, and software solutions to ensure compliance and proactive engagement with regulatory trends.

9. Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Conduct thorough market research to understand the ESG sustainability landscape, including competitor analysis and target market identification. Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the software, highlighting its benefits in ESG sustainability.

10. Product Positioning and Messaging: Craft compelling messaging that clearly articulates the unique value proposition of the ESG sustainability software. Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing materials and channels.

11. Thought Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert in ESG and sustainability, contributing to thought leadership through blogs, webinars, and speaking engagements.

12. Content Creation for Marketing Campaigns: Lead the creation of marketing content such as blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and videos that showcase the software's features and benefits in the context of ESG sustainability. Recommend marketing campaigns across various channels to promote the software, including digital, social media, and events.

13. Sales Enablement and Support: Equip the sales team with the necessary tools, materials, and training to sell the software effectively. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.

Qualifications

Education: A bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in sustainability or ESG reporting are a plus. Deep understanding of carbon footprint analysis and reduction strategies.

Experience: Proven experience in sustainability consulting, ESG reporting, or in a related field. Experience with ESG software platforms is highly desirable. Knowledge of relevant environmental regulations and sustainability standards including GHG, GRI, US EPA and SASB.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable insights.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effectively conveying complex ESG concepts to various audiences.

Project Management: Strong project management abilities to lead projects and teams to successful outcomes.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data analytics tools and software relevant to ESG reporting and sustainability management.

Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving ESG trends and client needs.

Work Environment

This role may require travel to client sites. It typically involves working in an office environment but may include remote work options. Full-time, part-time, or consulting options may be available.
