Our founders, Dr. Amit Malik and Dr. Shefali Batra are psychiatrists with significant clinical and healthcare management experience - both in India and abroad.
Dr. Amit Malik :
- Clinical Psychiatrist with over 14 years of experience
- Editor of Journal of Psychiatry and Behaviour Therapy
- Co-author and editor of 6 textbooks in the area of mental health-care
- Routinely published in several international and UK-based journals
Previously :
- Director at Healthcare, Allegro Corporate Finance Advisors
- President of the European Federation of Psychiatric Trainees
- Commercial Director, Associate Medical Director with UK National Health Service
Dr. Shefali Batra :
- Clinical Psychiatrist experience of over 13 years
- Author of the book - Teenage Matters-
- Periodic contributor to The Teenager Today, India's first and only magazine published for Indian teens
- Regularly writes for various media publications, such as Times of India, Mid-Day, Afternoon, DNA, Femina, New Woman, Savvy, Good Health
- Holds a Leadership Certificate in Healthcare Management from University of California, Los Angeles
The Role :
We are currently looking for a dynamic, self-starter with excellent communication skills to head our Business Development function in order to grow our business-to- business sales of our emotional/psychological wellness products especially to corporate employers and educational institutions.
Responsibilities include the following :
- Conceptualise and create a pitch communicating key product features to prospective clients
- Lead extensive research into market requirements to generate viable leads
- Contact key players in organisations and explore partnership opportunities
- Network with potential clients, build rapport and initiate meetings to discuss partnerships
- Manage all potential B2B leads and lead the process from initial contact to contract closure
- Plan and take ownership of new business initiatives
- Stay updated with market trends by attending conferences, reading research papers and more
- Provide market feedback to the product teams to improvise offerings
Additional Requirements :
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to network extensively
- Experience of sales/Business Development, preferably in the B2B space
- Creative skills to contribute with new and innovative ideas
- Capacity to work well under pressure
- Self-motivated - ability to set and meet one's own deadlines
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and flexibly
- Capacity to multitask, prioritise and work across multiple projects
- Readiness to learn new things everyday in a fast growing venture

Compensation :
The role is full-time and based in Mumbai. For the right candidate, we will offer a competitive salary, a success-based fee and equity.
