About the role : As a team member the individual will be responsible to manage and support the tax & regulatory function of the Company. The individual will be responsible for ensuring all the necessary compliances in the area of taxation i.e., Direct & Indirect. The individual will also be responsible for managing the overseas taxation.

What does the team do? The finance team at Glance is a tightly knit group working to set up processes, frameworks and systems to help the business ride the next wave of rapid growth. We are focused on ensuring compliances across geographies are addressed, reporting standards are met, and are commensurate to GAAP. What you'll be doing:

- Working closely with the key stakeholders and ensuring overall tax compliance

- Efficient management of tax litigation and assessments

- Coordination with external consultants and managing the Indian and overseas tax compliance

- Dealing with internal and external auditors, Tax and other regulatory authorities

- Responsible for identifying and implementing effective tax process and controls.

- Actively participate in discussions involving transaction advisory

- Providing high quality tax advisory support to Company's business units and support functions

- Assist in tax planning / building efficient strategy

- Responsible for the GST returns and corresponding GST audits

- Responsible for implementation of transfer pricing policy, providing guidance and support

- Ensuring up to date knowledge of changing tax laws so that the business remains tax efficient and compliant.

What you need to succeed:

- 3+ years of post qualification experience in the field of taxation with strong analytical skills

- In-depth knowledge of corporate income tax, indirect tax, accounting and transfer pricing.

- The candidate must have worked in a Multinational Company or possess industry knowledge. Candidates working or has worked in Big4 accounting firms would also be considered.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams, stakeholders across geographies.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving mindset.

- A hands-on approach with attention to details.
