The News and Current Affairs content vertical works with top content publishers around the world across news, sports, business, politics and entertainment to build delightful, immersive experiences for users. Job Profile: Glance has the opportunity to become the primary real estate for all news - be it breaking news, developing stories, updates or live coverage. As we build on this ambitious vision, we are looking for a seasoned marketing leader to articulate and deliver the marketing strategy for this vertical. This is a high-impact role that spans product marketing of the Glance News vertical, partner marketing to augment our publisher partners- efforts in going through this journey with us, and brand marketing to educate and build awareness for Glance News among our users around the world. Key Responsibilities: - Develop strategies and manage marketing campaigns across media to develop a unique and differentiated positioning for the Glance News offering - Run integrated brand and traffic marketing campaigns to make Glance's news initiatives and IPs irresistible and unmissable for users - Work closely with publisher partners to develop co-branded campaigns for content partnership IPs on Glance - Analyse the success of marketing campaigns and creating reports, and developing ongoing intelligence - Carry out market research in order to identify insights, measure brand health, keep up to date with customer trends, and to predict future trends. - Funnel insights from consumer insights and marketing campaigns to shape product development. Requirements: - 10+ yrs. of experience, with exposure to new-age media content outlets and proven expertise in digital-first marketing - Track record of demonstrated success in brand building via offline or online channels - Ability to think strategically, build and manage teams and work cross-functionally with multiple stake-holders - Deep awareness and interest in digital consumer behavior, and in news and current affairs - Knack for content driven user experience, deep interest in new content consumption trends - Ability to manage multiple internal as well as external stakeholders across the news and sports ecosystem, around the world - Adaptability to change and openness to try new approaches pro-actively - Passionate about working in a face paced environment, and a self-started with a strong bias for action
