Inhouse Lawyer - Energy Product Business - LLB

Our Client is a global leading energy company that develops its businesses - Power, Natural Gas, and Energy Services, and is looking to hire a junior lawyer for their Pune office.

Role & Responsibility :

- Monitor regulatory, construction law, and agreement trends related to the power sector in India

- Preparation of documentation for partnerships with third parties on specific development projects in India.

- Manage the due diligence in acquisition process

- Organize and take charge of the negotiation and preparation of legal documents for bid submittal, including mark-ups of project/acquisition agreements and EPC Contract for a specific project

- Negotiation of all partnership agreements, project/acquisition agreements, and EPC documents for projects in which the group is awarded preferred bidder status

- Provide general advice on contract management and all legal matters as they arise (including regulatory and local law issues in coordination with local counsel) during the development, construction and operation phases of a project, including change orders, force majeure, owner failure, punch list, completion delays and warranty claims
