Job Description :

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities (KRAs) :

- Managing Firewall and Security Operations: Ensuring the security of the environment through the implementation and maintenance of updated Firewall policies.

- Keeping Firewall and WAF Devices Updated: Timely updating and upgrading of all Firewall and Web Application Firewall (WAF) devices to maintain optimum security levels.

- Fixing Vulnerabilities: Prompt identification and resolution of vulnerabilities within the Firewall and WAF operations environment.

- Implementing Initiatives for Improvement: Spearheading initiatives to enhance network operations and security measures continually.

- Fine-tuning Policies: Regularly reviewing and refining policies across Firewall and WAF devices to ensure optimal performance and security.

- Interpersonal Communication: Intermediate proficiency in communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and coordination.

- Problem Solving: Advanced problem-solving abilities to address complex security challenges and optimize operational efficiency.

Functional Competencies :

- Fortinet & Checkpoint Firewall Operations Experience: Advanced proficiency in managing Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewall devices, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

- Radware WAF Experience: Advanced knowledge and experience in operating Radware Web Application Firewall (WAF) systems.

- ITIL Framework: Intermediate understanding and application of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework principles for efficient IT service management.

Qualifications and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum 6 years of experience in Firewall and information security operations.

- Certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CCSE (Check Point Certified Security Expert), or equivalent would be advantageous.
