Infrastructure Head - Cloud Enablement

Looking for a leader who plays a key role in supporting the Enterprise Infrastructure verticals with overall 15-20 years of experience and atleast 5-8 years of experience on Cloud enablement of services and managing Cloud services

Education and Experience

- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Equivalent

- 15+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years of experience managing large Infrastructure support teams, large projects and programs.

Role Description

Responsible for leading a team of support specialists on technologies including Unix, Windows, VMware, Storage Area Network, Network Attached Storage, CommVault for Backup that provide the infrastructure backbone needed by applications.

Job responsibilities:

- As part of global Platform Hosting leadership team, contribute towards overall management and improvement of Platform Hosting function

- Focus on stability of supported services

- Lead the Platform Hosting Engineering functions team within Platform Hosting India

- Identify and execute improvements in Platform Hosting through automation, self service enablement, process improvements

- Experience with Cloud enablement of services and managing Cloud services, including continuous development / continuous integration & agile processes with corresponding tool set - CHEF, Jira, Jenkins, Python

- Good overall understanding of IT infrastructure operations at a large scale enterprise level

- Good understanding of the Infrastructure application operations space (technology, tools, service delivery models, etc.)

- Exposure to scripting and automation will be an added advantage

- Experience on development / engineering side, with exposure to application support

- Experience working in global teams

- Demonstrated ability to lead large organizations

- Ability to drive and lead change

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
