Infrastructure Architect - IT

Eligibility / Responsibility: Candidate should have an Engineering degree/ BE/ B.TECH (from any stream) preferably with a masters degree; This is a technical/technology leadership role

1. 15+ years of experience in Director/Enterprise Architect level positions or above related to enterprise-level infrastructure management

2. 10+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed systems

3. Experience managing and/or supporting data centre consolidations and migrations including migrations to public and private clouds

4. Breadth of experience across enterprise IT in several of the following areas: IS design or development across compute, storage, back up technologies; infrastructure architecture, database architecture; IP networking; IT security; data center operations; enterprise applications

5. Breadth of expertise in cloud computing, technologies, and architectural best practices

6. Expert level technical acumen including the ability to understand the customer or partner IT landscape, identify opportunities and overcome any technical obstacles, ultimately influencing the adoption of our platforms and services in conjunction with business requirements

7. Expert level ability to understand the business domain of the customer or partner and the business problems the customer or partner is facing, with the intent to solve the business problems

8. Expert level ability to interact with senior leadership (e.g. CxO- s) within a customer or partner organization Should understand basics of finance and commercial modeling

9. Ability to work closely with Senior Leaders across towers/divisions.

10. Should have broad based competency and understanding one or more of the following technologies

a. Network & Security (e.g. CISCO, Juniper products)

b. Datacenter Services (Virtualization (e.g. VMWARE), Consolidation & Transformation)

c. Database - (SQL + Oracle etc)

d. Storage and Backup (e.g. SAN, NAS, DAS)

e. Messaging (e.g. Exchange)

f. Unified Communication (Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft etc..)

g. ITIL Framework (Preferably ITIL V3 certified)

11. Understanding of IT infrastructure Services / Outsourcing business

12. Lead and participate in the pre-sales process to understand customer business, technical objectives, and product requirements and Design and architect end to end solutions for the customer requirement

13. Ability to think past the products and create solutions to meet the business/IT needs

14. Work with delivery teams to map design into a product/services roadmap to help the customer

15. Effectively communicate solutions architecture to the customer, third parties and the project teams
