Infosys BPO (Product account) is hiring Data Scientist in Analytics for Hyderabad location.

Experience: 5 to 15 years experience.

Qualification: Only B.E / B.Tech / MCA

Required Skills

- 5-15 years of experience in leading analytical projects and delivering value to customers preferably in insurance industry

- Looking for computing-oriented applied statisticians and statistically oriented computer scientists, who have experience with predictive modeling for real-world applications with large volumes of data.

- Strong understanding gained through experience on advanced analytics (Logistic regression, Segmentation, forecasting, data mining, and optimization ) techniques

The position requires a results driven individual who can thrive as an independent researcher to:

- Build next-generation search quality algorithms, and targeting / optimization of applications

- Build prototype and implement algorithms via Hadoop and over hundreds of terabytes of data

- Explore data, diving deep with Research team

- Deploy continuously, test continuously, and learn

- Ability to design and implement analytics solutions

- Ability to mine unstructured data, including Text Mining using statistical tools

- Strong aptitude for analytical problem solving

- Exceptional communication skills. Demonstrable ability to communicate complex concepts to business audiences

- Ability to work effectively in a global team

Desired Skills

- Experience with big data platforms - Hadoop (Hive, Pig, Map Reduce, HQL)

- Hands-on experience in using software packages such as SAS, R for analytical modeling and data management

- Experience in using Business Intelligence tools such as: SAS, Tableau for business applications

Responsibilities:

- Interact closely with the data science and business development teams as well as senior management on the development of core technologies.

- Design solutions and lead execution of analytics engagements in various industry verticals by understanding client problems, and identifying most suitable approach.

- Design and develop new analytics solutions for go-to-market for clients.

- Provide technical (Analytics) leadership to project teams of various skill sets who are developing analytical solutions to solve clients key business needs

- Act and contribute to thought leadership in the space of analytics both within the organization as well as outside

- Structure design concepts to create compelling and effective presentations and other visuals that convey solutions and analytical results clearly and effectively to the client

- Consult actively with business users to ensure that solutions are tailored to business needs and will support or result in actionable customer strategies; participate in a consultative role in implementing solutions.

- Ensure detailed project documentation of effectiveness of analytics based strategies in client organization, measuring the value of analytical solutions and reinforcing its value proposition.

- Provide specific support in development of new business strategy, presentations and proposals and provide training on the fundamentals of customer / marketing / risk analytics and related statistical techniques.

- Be a part of a highly competent & motivated team in delivering best- in-class models resulting in meaningful insights to clients.
