Job Title: Sr. Lead Analyst - Social Media Analytics

Job Description:

The role holder should have good experience in the following areas:

- Function as a - Subject Matter Expert- for Social Media Analytics within the Analytics Practice

- Collect and synthesize unstructured data across social media platforms to analyze customer sentiments and measure Brand index

- Help define social media KPIs, monitor performance, and assess results

- Develop competitive benchmarks and track across platforms

- Track mentions and sentiment and provide ways to move the needle

- Evaluate influencer marketing performance and contribute to influencer strategy from a data perspective

- Lead the pilot projects for various existing clients to check the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed solution. Work with clients and deliver independently

1. RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Identify relevant KPIs: Define business metrics relevant to the client's business functions & take complete ownership for driving their improvement

2. Develop paid PoCs (Proof of Concepts) working with client stakeholders and mapping their business pain points and problems

3. Works with relevant Enterprise information management teams to organize the data capture and models for data analysis

4. Develop analysis to understand performance: Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis like (raw) data analysis, statistical modelling, data deep-dives etc. to acquire insights from data

5. Develop actionable insights to drive outcomes: Translates insights into an analysis report and communicates the insights back to the requestor.

6. Map insights to action items (working with clients stakeholders) in order to improve business metrics

7. Facilitate monitoring of actions to drive outcome: Monitor actions (targeted business outcomes achieved)- by providing guidance and feedback to the operations team

8. Works with Reporting specialists to standardize and automate recurring analytical requests into standard reports and dashboards

9. Project collaboration: Work effectively both independently and as a member of cross-functional teams

10. Project governance: Ensure compliance to governance model. Seek and manage customer feedback in order to ensure strong customer satisfaction on projects

2. EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / EDUCATION:

2.1 Work Experience

- 6+ years of experience in the Social Media Analytics domain - extensive work experience at a Senior Management / Transformational Consultant role's

- Ability to analyze unstructured data & interpret results

- Experience in statistical model building using R, Python and Minimum 3 yrs. of Model building experience

- Expert knowledge of advanced statistical techniques like N-Gram, SVM, Decision Trees, CART, etc.

2.2 Skills - Must Have

- Strong Social media domain analytics experience

- Experience in handling unstructured data

- Hands-on experience with analytical tools such as R, Python etc.

- Experience working with popular social media monitoring tools such as Radian 6, Sysomos, Social Studio, Sprinklr, BrandWatch, Synthesio etc.

- Strong story-telling skills to deliver recommendations from data analysis - proven skills in PowerPoint, in a business-case presentation context

- Fluent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills,

- Self-motivated and takes ownership

- Project management skills
