Job Description:
This profile shall be responsible for complete security and compliance of network infrastructure used for B2C services (wireless mobile, wireline broadband, home entertainment) and B2B (enterprise, NLD/ILD IP & TDM) services in India and south east Asia. Primary roles of the profile shall be as follows.
- Develop security practices in line with ITU-T X.805 framework and drive improvement.
- Responsible to dive security index improvements.
- Responsible to drive efficiency through automation of processes/procedures, selection evaluation of tools to simplify security operations and compliances.
- Drive audits and drive improvements in security compliances.
- Drive business continuity plans and disaster recovery for critical locations and resources.
- Drive international security certifications such as ISO 18001:2005 (OHSAS), ISO 27001:2005/13 (ISMS), ISO 22301 (BCMS) and BS25999.
- Drive and support remote access (RA) and lawful intercept (LI) compliances.
- Contribute effectively in other standards TL9000, OHSAS 18001:2002, ISO 9001 initiatives.
- Enhance Business Continuity Capabilities, minimize risk posture and overall compliance to information security policy, ISO 27001 (ISMS), BS25999/ISO 22301 (BCMS) standards requirements.
- Improve security incidents reporting and mitigation capabilities for intrusions, incidents for proactive analysis.
- Conduct vulnerability assessment, penetration tests and close observations and improve sustenance.
- Provide SME support for RA & LI and get new product and service approval from DoT.
- Responsible to conduct thermography & Fire Safety assessment for across all business networks.
- Responsible to conduct security Audits and close observations across all business networks.
- Increase effectiveness of Network Security Policies, procedure and guidelines for B2C & B2B networks.
- Increase compliance of UASL & other regulatory requirements for all services.
- Responsible for compliance of RA, LI, CMS requirements or any new initiatives.
- Plan and execute security audits and drive closure of all observations or nonconformance.
- Responsible for governance of security compliance with MS partners and suppliers of products.
- Drive Implementation & adherence to BISP, BAISP, LI, Network Security Policies across all networks.
- Lead security initiatives and work with security agencies on compliances and new initiatives
