Level : Manager Overall Experience : 6-8 Years Department : Information Technology Location : Ahmedabad Reporting To : Group CISO or General Manager - IT Security Qualification : BE/B-Tech, CISM, CISSP Key Responsibilities: 1. Administer and maintain various information technology network security control systems such as firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, virtual private networks (VPN), and network account access 2. Implement, monitor, administer and support network security systems to ensure proper safeguarding of the network infrastructure, and information assets of the organization 3. Implement, manage, uphold and enforce the company's technology security policy and procedures for network and applications 4. Implement controls such that they are compliant with policy and procedures through the administration of enterprise-wide network security hardware and software systems 5. Troubleshoot and resolve network security issues 6. Maintain awareness of existing and emerging threats, assessing risks, and modifying control structure as required. 7. Bring user awareness and ensure key stakeholders are educated of any emergent threats and risks. 8. Lead the implementation of network security technologies firewalls, IPS (Intrusion Prevention System), SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and vulnerability management. 9. Lead security incident coordination and response when an incident occurs. Document resources and methodologies. 10. Provide technical leadership on major projects, and upgrades and installation 11. Supervise the Information Security Operations team and provide technical leadership in all aspects of network security. 12. Develop and maintain IT liaison relationship with functional departments, key users, architecture and engineering 13. Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors to meet business needs 14. Provide leadership and support to the Information Security team designing and implementing information security controls 15. Lead audit participation and response on behalf of ITS Infrastructure Services, including tracking and resolution of issues. Ensure security-related audit commitments met and maintained. 16. Provide support and assistance during internal and external audits 17. Assist other IT groups in addressing gaps in adherence to security infrastructure, policies and standards. 18. Other duties as assigned. Key Competencies Required: 1. Ability to support Checkpoint, firewalls and VPN systems and related client support. 2. Experience with security log management and reporting tools 3. Experience supporting and managing a vulnerability assessment program. 4. Knowledge of cloud security (Azure, AWS or Co-Location) and server virtualization hardening. 5. Functional understanding of overall computing environment (Network, Operating Systems, Client Platforms, Firewalls, Cloud) 6. Deep understanding and experience of implementing security into a complex, dynamic technology environment (On premise, Cloud, Hybrid Cloud environments) 7. Experience with working with internal audit, legal department and external investigative agencies. 8. Experience working with information security function in relations with enforcing security policies 9. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security) preferred. Other certifications in this domain if any Skills and Knowledge: 1. ISO Standards 270001, 20000 2. ITIL, COBIT Framework 3. Virtualization and Cloud Computing 4. Data Centre Operations 5. CCISO or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacking) domain knowledge
