Data Management Consultant / Lead

- Data Management Consultant (3-6 years exp)

- Data Management Lead (6-9 years exp, should additionally have experience in leading a team, and handling delivery operations along with the following requirements)

Requirement :

- Data Management skills - modeling, warehousing, integration, mining and quality.

- An inherent understanding of database administration is a necessity in terms of database architectures, programming and scripting, design, implementation, repair and maintenance.

- Good skills in reviewing/writing ETL scripts.

- Knowledge on any of the BI or visualization tool would be an added advantage - Cognos / Tableau / Xcelsius / QlikView

Core Responsibilities :

- Review ETL scripts and explore creative approaches to using data

- Responsible for Data Integrity

- Understanding definitions, program guidelines, and sources of data

- Developing clear channels of communication

- Being aware of potential weaknesses in the data

- Database Design and Planning.

- Understanding database design concepts and limits of various types of databases

- Ability to participate in short-term and long-term planning about database projects and to decide how to efficiently store and analyze various types of data

- Identify or enhance processes to ensure quality of data provided to BI

- Adopt or drive proven Data Security measures for the organisation

- The individual would be expected to independently design presentations to summarize the result of analysis

Mandatory Skill Sets :

- Worked in ETL and data-warehousing projects.

- Operation Data Store (ODS) and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) working knowledge.

- DB2 or Oracle back-ground.

- Has worked in setting up Quality framework
