Role: Business Analyst - 99acres home loan division

This role is with the core team of the home loan division at 99acres which is currently in its 0 to 1 journey to build "India's largest home loan distribution platform"

As a Business Analyst, the position offers a great opportunity to work with the senior management of99acres and a dual advantage of working in a startup inside a large corporate.

This role is not a traditional business analyst role but a mix of business, research, marketing and product analyst role.

The person would report to EVP & Business Head, Home Loans, 99acres.

Major Responsibilities:

- Working closely with the product and sales team on customer and competition research

- Keeping a close tab on the market to understand emerging trends, technologies and models forhelping the business on shaping up their strategy

- Deep diving into data being generated across functions to create insights for business

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and accordingly create and publish periodic reports

- Working on key strategic projects with internal business team.

- Preparing business presentations and research reports.

- Story-telling and data modelling - use modelling to find conclusive results for experiments, identifies various personas and key performance metrics for business and product success

- Perform root cause analysis on business challenges and present findings to stakeholders.

Preferred candidates:

- B.Tech from Tier-1 engineering college (IIT, NIT, DTU, BITS, etc.)

- 0-2 years of total experience

- Experience in consulting and analytics preferred

Required skills and competencies:

Hard Skills:

- Must have - MS Excel, SQL & MS Powerpoint;

- Good to have - Python, VBA, Tableau

Soft Skills:

- Strong research capabilities, analytical abilities, business acumen and good innate judgment

- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication

- A high standard of integrity and ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team or autonomously with little oversight

- Must be a self-starter capable of working in a fast-paced environment with limited direction

- Ability to interpret data and provide relevant conclusions/recommendations

- Great relationship management skills - networking, influencing and collaborating
